Never been a fan of the full on suit. Don't do ties or blazers unless I really feel I need to.

I start a new job next month and will be required to meet clients on a regular basis. With that said I think I'll need to start investing some monies in suits :(.

I'd like to get myself at least 2 suits before the end of this month. Spending no more than 100.00gbp on each. Small budget I know. However, I'm not prepared to spend 300.00+ on suits just yet.

Do any of you know where I might find some decent looking suits?!

No links to MrPorter please.

Marks & Sparks/Debenhams kind of places for that money I reckon. Just try them on first & make sure you get a good fit & you'll look good enough for a few months.

Forgot M&S make clothes too. Will check them out.

I might be able to add another 0.50p

From experience M & S / Next are all pretty much the same in that price bracket. There seems to be the opinion on here that a £100 suit from Burton will literally fall apart compared to a £100 M & S suit which simply isn't true.
I have about 3 Burton and 2 M&S all in the sub £150 all of very similar quality (obviously not quite qas nice as the more expensive suits I have) and they serve their purpose.
I would rather go for whatever fitted me best, £1000 ill fitted suit will still look worse than a £100 well fitted suit.

Debenhams have some nice suits. I have 3 from there for work and are still looking good 2 years on. Also Next.

I personally would wait though until the New Year sales. I picked up a Debenhams and Next suit for £40 - £50 each in the sales.

Stretch your budget a little bit more and go Next, they do good suits, can pick up a decent set for £110

I'll wait for the sales then.

I wonder if anyone actually only goes into mcdonalds for the porridge?

I like next suits, picked a few up and they're pretty comfy and decently priced it suppose, but then again i did get a staff discount from someone i know, give 'em a look.

Also, a friend got a bargain suit for like £40 out of H&M, not sure if they're any good for suits though.

I like M&S suits. Good value and they keep similar ranges for years so you can usually find another pair of trousers if the old ones wear out (alway buy two pairs of trousers with every jacket if you can).

Debenhams in the January sales. You should be able to get a very decent off the peg suit for £100. The Jeff Banks ones are a nice cut and very well made.

Surprised its not been said but try Slaters to if you have one local.

That was going to be my advice until I seen the OP lives in London and they seem to be very scarce down South, but to anyone else that needs a suit and is nearby they're great.
Suits for all price ranges, free alterations for the life of the suit and very helpful staff.

£100 a suit? Just no.

Even a low end but decent M&S suit will cost you nearer £180.

I'd save £200 ish and get one from Charles Tyrwhitt or TM Lewin personally.
