Worst event of 2012: Hard to say. The recent shooting in America obviously ranks pretty highly, though I'm not sure if other worse attrocities may have occured elsewhere
Most important international moment of 2012: Obama getting re-elected.

Defining movie of 2012: Probably The Hobbit.
Personal event of the year: Starting my diet to improve my health.
 
Amazing that so many people view the re-election of the puppet Barry Obongo as the most important international event of the year - him and Romney sing the same tune when it comes to their puppet-masters. How about the ongoing Islamist Spring which has swept hardcore Muslims into power across the Arab world? This will change your world and that of your children - partly paid for by your tax-money too.

2012 has been a fairly steady year for me, nothing overly good or bad had happened, bit like 2005 really.
