Do any of you have iPhones on 3 network?

Ah, didn't know that.

I've had no trouble personally, I lose signal at the back of the shop I work in sometimes but with o2 I would pretty much need to be hanging out of the door to get any signal whatsoever.

I've been mega impressed with internet speeds in general, as well as coverage. I often phone a mate on the drive home from work and would always lose signal completely and get cut off at two places on the way home, and I don't see anything like that now.

I've been with 3 for about 3 months now.

They are great if you have good signal, I've had up to 20mb download before. However theres a downside, at many places I've visited I'm lucky to get 1 signal bar and I get No Service all the time, even in built up areas and near motorways.

Basically 3 has speed over coverage and O2 have coverage over speed :p

My experience with 3 was similar to the person above. Outside the signal was ok, inside it was rubbish and over time it got progressivly worse, even at home.

I have the iPhone 5 on the 3 Network, Had this when it first came out.

I was previously on O2 and you would be making the right decision if you move to 3 from o2

3 have much better tarrifs and are a very stable company had no problems at all!

iPhone 5 on 3 with the OnePlan.

Speedtest just pulled 19.5mbit outside the building at work, so I'm happy with that. Signal completely dies off in the house on the ground floor though (out of three floors), but the house is in a dip and it's a known signal black spot!

Extremely happy with it otherwise and wouldn't go back to either TM/ee or O2/giffgaff now.

I've recently switched to 3 on my 4s. Much better than t-mobile. 3g almost everywhere.

Out of interest, is there a way of allowing the phone to download over 50mb on 3g (without jailbreaking)?

No, and it's rather frustrating with unlimited data already available and fast speeds on DC-HSDPA. Even worse where some apps (e.g. TED) don't let do things like download off Wifi at all. Will be ridiculous when 4G comes out and is as fast as Wifi but still restricted.

I really can't understand this, very frustrating!

im with 3 and i dont have many problems. my signal at work isnt great and jumps in and out of 3g but apart from that im pleased.

their customer service leaves much to be desired though.

Currently pay £20 per month with GG they sent me a warning letter a few weeks back as I downloaded over 1gb of games to my iPhone whilst waiting for my son to hae an op in hospital

I get unlimited data (yea right) 800mins unlimited sms can 3 beat that at all? Can't see any rolling month by month sim only packages that better that or I'd be tempted to jump

Coverage checker

You can use your mobile to make calls, send texts and use the internet in most outdoor locations. If you're inside you may struggle to get a signal.
Great news.
You're in an area with Ultrafast Internet. Your experience may vary depending on your exact location

Standard?
