Advice needed ! Or i need to get something off my chest or something...

So the girls told me the other morning about Liam who is mummys new boyfriend, i asked Becky - my ex - about it since i'd rather her telling me about it rather than hear it through the girls (aged 5 and 6)....she said the girls were just making it up and they think every bloke who turns up is her boyfriend..sounded plausible-ish. We had agreed that we'd tell the other when we'd have a new person sleeping over, when the girls are there, since we are both their parents....

Fast forward to today, they told me about him staying over and being there in the mornings, so the girls had it spot on and Becky basically made them out to be liars in order to cover her tracks. I'm fuming to say the least, what little respect she must have for her own children ! Thing is, i know who this lad is. Its someone who she's meant to be caring for in her job, he had a car crash and has brain damage (seriously, you can't make this **** up) so needs looking after since he can't be trusted to make good decisions and won't be able to drive again etc...he's 25..she's 36....i feel at the moment i want to make her work aware, since this a totally inappropriate relationship. Yet if she looses her job, its the girls who loose out since there is less money. Perhaps partly its because i'm upset with her for putting the children in the middle as well....

Shall i shop her or not ?
 
Just politely remind her that it is unprofessional to be having a relationship with a client and that losing her job over it would be detrimental to the children.

That way she knows you know and she is reminded of her professional and personal responsibilities.

Hmmmm that's probably wise advice.

And yes, apparently even nice middle class people end up on Jeremy Kyle. What a classy lady i spent 10 years with :(

Seriously.. Don't do this. You will appear to be threatening her and it will cause more problems than it is worth. You're hurt because she moved on. Get over it.

Rubbish. He can't just "get over it" when she's looking after his kids :rolleyes:
