Auto-Mailers

How come all these auto mailers from UK companies tend to send stuff out overnight? It's a real pain if you messed up your phone's settings before going to bed. :mad:

Now to find a way of disabling data automatically each night. :rolleyes:

Fairly sure you can set your phone to only check for new mail during a set time period. You can on android phones anyway.

Alternatively put your phone on silent.

My own stupidity but still, I'm wondering why they choose such odd times to send stuff out. It's not as if they are paying an off-peak rate on emails overnight! :confused:

Being drunk and then getting woken up at silly o'clock for a "special offer" from a shop I regularly use peed me off somewhat.

Move to a different time zone so the emails don't wake you up.

my android phone turns off the wireless when it goes into sleep mode, probably does the same with 3g too ? :/
