NFL 2012 Season

What a second half in SNF, Pats 28 down at the half and come back to level it up before the 9ers hit back with a TD to Crabtree after a 63 yard kick off return & then a field goal.

Pats took the field goal and then tried the onside kick but failed. 41-34 9ers, damn good game. With Purdy though, not sure I'll sleep much. That 2nd half was nervy when Brady got on a roll.

I sure hope so, as a Vikings fan I'm more concerned with AP breaking the record than I am with us making the play-offs (although ideally I'd like both ;) ).

"Only" 300 yards in 2 games would be a big ask for any other running back, but for All Day in the form he's in at the moment it's very do-able...

Seems to be averaging near 200 every game at the moment. So I would be hopeful for it to happen, he certainly deserves it.

Never seen our defence melt like that vs Brady's constant play calling its scary, although when it mattered i.e. when it was sodding level we decided we knew how to defend.

We got too lax and allowed Tom to get it going and our play calling on offense was shocking, so glad we rode it out to a win, the loss would've been so deflating.

A Superbowl would be fun with the Pats and 49ers.

Doubt I was the only one who thought a comeback was out of reach? 1st half we were shocking. Gronk should be back soon, we're a much better team with him.

Comeback is always on with Brady and his relentless quick snapping.

A few important points though, Justin Smith being injured for 21 of your points was absolutely massive.

The holding on Aldon Smith the entire game was a joke and our cutesy play calling when we were 31-3 up was an absolute shambles.

That said I'm stunned we won, I think most teams would have lost from that position at 31-31, not that is should have ever reached it.

Also this note Colin wrote when he was in fourth grade. Nuts haha

Haha, looks like something I wrote back in Primary School! "I want to be a football player, bla bla bla" :D

The punt return when we made it 31-31 is what killed us, without it..your lot looked defeated.

Or the fact we actually allowed Kaep to pass the ball finally when going level and Crabtree worked magic.

I'll never trust our play calling when we are ahead, just try too much **** and give the ball away instantly.

Washington should try to hold on to him if he'll stay, I doubt that this is the last time that RG3 will miss a game due to injury.

Trouble is at the minute he is trade bait, Charley Casserly our former GM mentioned this week (with words to this effect) Cousins is already worth a 2nd round pick and come the offseason he could be worth two 2nd round picks.

Two 2nd round picks is massive to us seeing as we've mortgaged this years first round pick (swapped) and two future first round picks for RG3.

With teams like the Cardinals, Chiefs, Raiders and you could throw the Eagles in there too needing a QB, things could get interesting.

Hail!

That all makes sense, and realistically I doubt that he would be happy with sitting on the bench. I'd have him at Minnesota, but hell the way that Ponder has been playing recently I'd even have Tim Tebow ;)

Of course with all this talk about trading Cousins we're missing the real issue here, which is "Is he a cousin, or is he a cornball cousin?"...

:p

I am torn between keeping Cousins and trading him.

My instinct is to keep him until the end of his contract. Let him learn his trade here and then let him walk. We need a quality back-up for RG3 and a 2nd rounder aint gonna guarantee a starter.

Now, if someone offered a 1st rounder (depends where in the round, top 15 etc) then i would jump at the chance.

Any of you guys watching "Monday" Night Football on the red button?

Falcons are looking good at half time, they lead the Lions 21-6.

We were very lucky at the end, all these dumb Redskins fans routing for Saints tonight, their game doesn't mean a thing if Dallas come to FedEx next week and win THEY'RE IN!
