I hereby conclude that this is impossible.

After trying my hardest these past few months i'm just going to have to let christmas go.

Big christmas meals, partying. Bloody christmas food. Cakes, pies and mini cooked sausage rolls. IMPOSSIBRU.

How are you going to not explode out your clothes this christmas?

I started my diet at the start of the month, but I was fully aware that I would probably fail to lose much weight over the Christmas period, due to all the festive food and drink. I am going to try and minimise the indulgance though. For example I asked family/friends to not get me any sweets as presents.

Its a holiday and its only once a year. Eat, drink and be merry! And then hit the gym once January comes around! :D

I bet gym subscriptions absolutely explode during the January period. Also, on Christmas day I know for a fact i'm going to get a stupidly high amount of sweets, chocolate and everything else lol

Oh it always does. And most people quit within a few weeks. I'm still trying to arrange a lifestyle assessment interview for my local gym so I can join at a reduced fee. Problem is that the staff have been out all week at Christmas lunches and next week their off completely. Im starting to think I'll be amongst the people joining in the new year at this rate.

I've lost 5 stone this year to reach my ideal weight so this past week my plan has been to lose a few more pounds as i know it'll go back on over Christmas.

Give up on the diet man, just go wild. I am seriously punishing myself come Jan 1st. But until then I will lose control.

I am throwing the odd run in over the next 2 weeks just to tick over but this time of year even the hardcore members have to ease off :)

Aye, I have had to quit my gym membership till I got hold of a new job (Which I finally managed)

I will feel pretty stupid joining the membership line this January.. I just hope I can keep it up =)

I must say, My goals for 2013 are quite similar. How in the hell did you manage 5 stones over a year?

Dosen't matter how much i eat / drink over crimbo period i'll probably still lose weight. i'm one of those horrible people who can't put weight on no matter what or how much i eat :D

Grab your pitchforks and light the fires porky folks! (Actually, I don't think I can be arsed) Screw you, you genetically superior thin person

My gym always gets hammered by new years resolutionist fatties and they always over subscribe knowing full well they will only last a few months :(

I plan on continuing my diet, the thought of a 6 pack appeals to me more than Christmas :D

I'll put a little on but it will soon come off again when I return to my normal diet and activities.

I actually lost it in the space of 7 months from Jan 01 to Aug 01st.

Just set myself a goal and really wanted to lose it, put myself in a 10k then a half marathon which really helped in getting fit and losing the weight.

I found it pretty easy, it's keeping it off that is the hard part.

Rubbish,. It's only as hard as you make it. It's called self control.

I never get fat over Christmas, or put on weight. And I shall never be fat either

Fortunately I carry a lot of muscle, meaning I burn calories more efficiently, and as such can eat more ;) However, I still don't drink much alcohol, or eat lots of crap, and it's easy to say "no thank you".

What did you weigh before you started if you don't mind me asking =)

My problem is a complete lack of discipline and self control. Since I started my new job everything has been getting better and better, I just need to stop caving into my food cravings and get outside :D

I eat what I want, don't find it hard to say no but then I will have a few sweets etc. Luckily I don't have much of a sweet tooth and I'm trying to put weight on so bring on crimbo dinners :)
