Dell Ultrasharp U3011 30" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Anybody pushed the boat out and bought one of these?

How do you find it (Pros/Cons)?

I am after mixed use (Office large spreadsheets/Browsing/Gaming)

What are other peoples experiences?

I have one, LOVE it, the blacks are black and the colours are first rate, it is huge, my opinion worth it!!

They are great:
30" 2560x1600 An I do want one.
But I have been holding off unti March 13.
As rumours has it Dell will release a U3013 model then.

it's quite an old screen now from 2010 but still a very affordable 30" model really. There's be so many 27" screens emerge that the slightly smaller size sector is where the real advances have come and costs have been driven down. Review of the U3011 here, but as said, the new U3014 is expected early in 2013 as detailed here

There seems to be some debate of weather its going to be called:
U3013 or U3014.

But as long as its affordable, an less than the present Dell U3011 £900, then I'll strongly consider it in March/April time.

Indeed there is

and we (at TFTcentral) brought the news both times

it originally looked like it would be a u3013 but the documentation now lists U3014 and given it won't be released until the new year my money is on that now!

Ive had the 3011 for a year or so now, and absolutely love it.

From a single monitor pov I wouldnt have any other single monitor at all. Everything is absolutely perfect.

The only thing that might persuade me to change (when /if I ever have funds) is 3* 27" (thin bezels) in portrait mode.......and I dont mean the 1080p 27"'ers either lol

as soon as we have any news we will definitely report it. We're normally first to bring a lot of the Dell news. Hoping to have the U2713H and U2913WM very soon for review but there's been some delays with Dell
