Steam Christmas Sale 2012

Oh I like just bought this (gt legends) looks really good.
Do people recommend playing it without the mod a little bit then installing it or just install it from the start?

Looks like it going take many hours or even days to download the mod...

As all the links seem to be really slow or dead...:(
 
Finally made my first purchase, I got the Race Injection bundle. Had been looking at buying it for a while but wasn't sure if I would ever play it. At these prices though it's probably worth it just in case I ever feel like having a quick drive about. :)

funny you should say that, i could have sworn Batman was much cheaper when i checked from work earlier - but I've come to buy it and it's a tenner? i was probably demob happy so wasn't paying attention.

Good thing I bought Arkham City GOTY yesterday for £4.99 :D

Now it's gone to £9.99 :mad:
 
Anyone else had problems purchasing the monkey island special edition pack (monkey island 1 + 2) ?

it was on a flash sale when i tried to buy it but steam says the purchase failed. No explanation just contact steam support (which i have done).

Only tiny problem could be that the price will have changed by the time it is fixed...ohh and i also tried to buy it twice so they might decide to charge me twice..who knows.

(its not my card problem as i bought stuff off GOG as well today) Yeah they have an xmas sale going on too :)

Anybody played it? What sort of experience am i going to get with mouse and keyboard? Does it need a controller? Looks like it might fill a couple of days (until XCom comes in the sale!)
 
I'm waiting for Xcom too :P. Got the email today saying that they have delayed the new one though :(. Still, they have been working on it for 5 years and I think it's going to be great!
