Stella makes people aggressive?

Alcohol is alcohol. What is does to you physiologically is dependent on the quantity, the strength, the speed you drink it and other factors such as your age, gender etc. The expectation of the effect and the associated marketing will change things too. We do know beer consumption is associated with violence but that says more about the drinkers than the drink.

or more importantly what else is in the drink

Would be interesting to get two people who are very similar in age, size etc and give one Stella and another a lager of similar percentage.

I put my money on the Stella drinker being more aggressive

Of course none of this matters because the brains of the two people may be completely different. Person a may break down into tears after a few pints of Stella, person b may want to beat everyone up

why would anyone drink Stella, its like tesco tramp special and tastes suspiciously like carpet cleaner

You have obviously not tasted Lamvino, Frosty Jacks or Vodkat. Good god, Vodkat is terrible

In uni we used to drink Lamvino (yes, cheap Lambrini!) followed by Vodkat and home brand orange cordial with a bit of water :o ...:D

Always drink stella, not really for taste but it is just the drink me and a mate always have in a can for those train beers moments.

Doesn't taste great by any means, but can be drunk consistently over many more pints than say Grolsh or Carlsberg.

Neither of us get so drunk on it we go out and fight a car, then a lamp post, then beat who ever is asleep in our beds.

I think getting into the wife beater mode is more down a. a secret desire to be a wife beater and b. an utter fool who can't hold their drink.

I assume that the wife beater drink label has come from certain individuals wanting the most alcoholic content from their beer and choosing stella, making them relatively more drunk and susceptible to aggression.

I definitely agree with different types of drink making you feel different types of drunk, I assume due to the effects of everything else but the alcohol. It's probably the reason why most people get sleepy drinking red wine as opposed to other drinks.

I've never been aggressive when drunk, ever. But.. when I get drunk on Vodka, it makes me spew for days!

I have been in some right old states on most beers\lagers including stella and I have never got angry other than one occasion when some idiot just smacked me in the face for no apparent reason. When I finally picked myself off the floor I was pretty angry but I guess anyone would be.
