This is my main gripe, i mainly play as Arsenal with Theo down the right. I can count on one hand when he hasn't been caught by the left back / left mid. I just don't understand how pace works in this game as it isn't just the numbers. What's even worse is when they catch him then suddenly morph through him and have the ball :(.

One thing you have to remember, pace is relevant to being on the ball or not!

I've had Lavezzi (92 pace iirc) bombing down the pitch to get the ball, gets it, and an 87 pace fullback eventually catches him, surely that's right really, as fast as someone can sprint, he can't sprint at the same speed and keep control of the ball.

I'm on about straight line running though, just punt it a little in front and run at full pace. I can't believe there's many that would catch Walcott like that especially when he has a head start.
 
What do you guys think of this? Going to build it after the market drops.

Torn between Coentrao and Simao or Monreal and Pepe down the left.

Modric or Kaka at CAM?

Any alternatives to Soldado up top? I can't afford the big ones like Falcao.

Personally, Kaka, but I'm a big Kaka fanboy :)

Why wait until the market crashes? it won't affect budget players like those (Modric maybe being a tiny exception, but he only runs at 8K...

Also, the market is hardly going to suddenly prolapse on 9/1 with the Balon D'or and then at the end with the UPs, it'll take till mid March for things to really change & settle! You lot are worse than the Mayans sometimes!! :p

Haha, fair enough. In that case I'm waiting until I get back home from my parents' (for Christmas) and subsequent skiing holiday, as I won't have access to a PS3 until then :)
 
I really love Modric, He seems to be a great all rounder CAM for me. Scores some beauty goals and his passing is extremely good.

I couldn't get on with Turan, dunno why he just seemed very weak. I have Ozil instead. I swap in Kaka every so often. Kaka is pretty good. But I prefer Ozil and Modric as my CAMs.

Here is my team which I am really enjoying. Although I still seem to get the odd match where my players just do not show up :p

Hmm, I had a Brazilian team previously, more or less with that back four, and couldn't defend for toffee.

That front five is more or less what I'm going for when I get a few more coins together though. Can't afford Falcao or Ozil at present. Personally, I was going to go for Modric and Turan as they'll both work back, which could help out in 4-5-1. At the same time, having Kaka sitting behind the striker could be handy as well. Tough one!
 
First time in about two weeks I have a team I enjoy using, and yes it's five at the back. Deal with it.

Been serious for a second . how is Mata ?

I've had him for 2 games first one I had to change formation as other guy had a 352 . 2nd game it was 10 nil affair so haven't chance to play with him really.

Is he better than Ben Afra? Because at over 300k he's expensive!

Also silver squad anyone please?
 
I'm fickle, I couldn't give a **** what team I'm using as long as I'm winning :p Anyone who enjoys losing just ain't right.

The 4222 team is pretty damn good, Eto'o is just ridiculous.

He's very good, I'm probably the least forgiving when it comes to IF, if they don't do something I like in one game I get shot and he's last 8 games now so he must be doing something. I only spend the coins as it's just sat there and I got a cheapish deal so when I do sell on I shouldn't lose out.

Silvers, just go BPL, Agbon, Lukaku, Bentike, BWP, Kebe, Mayuka, McCleary, Bassong, etc etc
