Always question, but don't always seek to take the minority position and paint yourself as more informed. Most conspiracy theorists tend to do so often to the detriment of those (the masses) who take the commonly held view because of the broader body of evidence.

Being confident of your position does not make it more worthy or more informed, again something conspiracy theorists tend to do even when, as more often than not happens, their theories are debunked and shown to be complete fallacy and wrong, they still persist.

That is not rational or open of mind, it's ignorant and stupid and leads to people ignoring anything of value they have to offer......rare though that also is.

If you treated this as fiction, all be it, fiction you were interested in so enjoyed reading about. No harm no foul. But that you actually seem convinced this is reality is where you've strayed into the realms of being a mentalist.

I love Warhammer 40k lore. Can't get enough of it. Yet I'm not going to tell everyone that Tyranids are going to wipe us all out and that we need to find the human god, the Emperor, to save us and guide us into the future... because that would be ****ing mental. Which is where you slipped up :D
 
Magick, good for you for starting this thread. I've read and listened to a lot of conspiracy theories (particularly on coast to coast, which I am sure you are aware of) and none stack up. You have to recognise that it is an industry you are buying into, it's a crock, a modern religion for its faithful. You seem to default to a position of belief in the most outlandish concepts rather than being open minded and that is true of most CT types, as closed off as the religious right or any other establishment.

Can't man just believe in Gods and decide to build structures that try to reach as high as they can to get close to them and the pyramid just so happens to be the best shape that every civilisation would come up with if they tried to build high.

Apologises for being wrong, then states all the other guff he believes in. To top it off, he then lets slip that he doesn't think the 2012 guff was wrong, just that it's a change that's already begun..........
