I have a little tradition to treat myself for Christmas. As I have two to three weeks off work at this time every year, I get in some nice ales and spend a good chunk of my free-time gaming.
It's become a great part of Christmas. Last five years, I've lost myself in The Witcher, Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Origins, Batman AA, Orcs Must Die, Skyrim, and this year I've just finished Dishonored, but can't decide what would be a worthy title to play from now until early Jan.
Needs to be something I can sink my teeth into and that will keep me interested for 40-50 hours or so.
I'm trying to decide between these unplayed games that I have:
Fallout New Vegas
Batman Arkham City
Total War Shogun 2
Divinity II
Risen 2 Dark Waters
Two Worlds II Pirates of the Flying Fortress
LA Noire
Crysis 2
Bulletstorm
Rage
Darksiders
Saints Row The Third
I'm leaning towards one of the RPG-type games because they're usually a good bet to be fairly long-lasting and immersive, but can't decide because I don't know enough about them really.
Any comments to help me decide? Is New Vegas still decent? Can it be made to look good by today's standards? Etc...
