I've had the Steeleries v2 Before but without the USB Amp.

Out of this lot what you reckon is best? I like Bass + Will be used for movies,Games,Music. (I'm downgrading from a Asus STX + Beyerdynamic DT770 as I'm short on money.)

ASUS Xonar DG & Creative Aurvana Live! headphones.

Within your price bracket and far superior.

Surely the resale value of what you have is not too much more than what you have listed?

I assume he is just going to use the USB DAC that's included with the headset and sell both the sound card and his current headphones. However I would go with the above suggestion, I've heard great things about those headphones.

EDIT: Actually, why not just keep your headphones and use your onboard audio? The resale value on second hand headphones is pretty poor unless they are almost new. The amp on a DG would come in handy if you have the higher impedance version and you can get one second hand very cheap.

The headband on those Creative look tiny, Price wise it probably works around the same amount. but i wanted to get a new headset anyway.

What about the razer Tiamat with MSI MPower onboard sound?
