1 has more reviews, but the other one kinda looks nicer, what would you go for?

Like 20 pound is my limit really as I'm not really into flashy headsets, just something that gets the job done :)

Out of these

or

Also at the moment I'm using one that doesn't go around and cover the ear, but rests on it, and I've no complaints, so would the others be more comfortable?

Having owned both the Creative HS-800 and the Plantronics GameCom 380 recommended above, I would say that the creative ones are a bit better. Neither are outstanding by any means but the creative set used to be £25-£30 so I believe it is on special offer. They both have reasonable build quality and the mic on both is pretty good. They are both comfortable, the Plantronics 380's would be better if you have big ears as the cups are bigger (well, technically they are square!) and they are not as tight as the creative's, which felt really tight when I first got them but quickly loosed off.

One of the benefits of having earcups is that it isolates the sound and provides superior bass clarity and reverberation if you know what I mean. If you're used to on ear headphones with no earcups then you will probably find either of these sets amazing.
