MSI 660 ti

Iv looked at the Asus cards and from what I have read, there build quality isn't the best. I think I will go with the MSI.

Just installed my new card yesterday and I'm so pleased with it. I just can't believe how silent it is!!! Near as damn it silent and performance is great as well, scores double in 3Dmark11 compared to my old 560ti.
Thanks for the help, I'm well pleased!!!

Glad you are pleased with it.

An underestimated card on these forums IMO. :)

YOU MADE THE WRONG CHOICE- THE 7950 IS FASTER AT THE SAME PRICE!!!!

Only kidding, glad you are happy with your card :)
(Though the 7950 is faster :p)

This, the WF 7950 is quiet as hell! :D

That being said, no reason for the OP to not enjoy his 660Ti. The TF coolers are some of the best on the market :D

Nothing hugely wrong with the 660Ti, except for above £200 and only 192-bit memory bus really, and the 7950 is faster for the same price or less...:p

But I say Nvidia driver still have better reliability advantage. The powerplay and screen-flickering issue with driver beyond 12.8 for my 5850 had been doing my head in for ages...and I think I have finally fixed the problem today following LtMatt's guide. AMD drivers should have all the options for sorting out problems when they occur (not that they should occur in the first place) or a clean install option like Nvidia's driver, but no...people have to find and use 3rd party software for fixing their drivers instead.

Nvidia have a lot of their own problems, including screen flickering.

RMA the card, its not the Drivers as that problem with the 5### series was fixed years ago.
It looks to me like you have a memory fault.

I don't have that issue.
