When did Roses get a Upgrade?

The last time I had some roses, it seems they just contain several cleverly named sweets that all seem to translate as "some form of caramel covered with chocolate". They are all the bloody same, no orange one anymore :( Think they kept the strawberry though.

I'm always gutted when somebody passes me a tin of Roses instead of a tin of Quality street.

Roses - Fail

Quality street, the clue is in the name tbh.

A big fat LoL from me. ;)

Quality Street, for those that like to pretend a (now slightly less) tacky tin and nasty crunchy sweets makes for a 'quality' expierience. The proof of which is better is when there are hundreds of unsold tins of QS in your local supermarket after Xmas.

Not that the whole Roses/Quality Street thing gets me annoyed. :D Though Roses aren't as good as they used to be... Definite scrimping going on.

I remember the old caramel toffee type ones they used to do in roses, like a dime slightly but not quite, cant remember the name of them, they haven't done them for years now though they was by far my favorites.

Roses got ruined once they changed the Strawberry creams, they were awesome when they were still wrapped in the blue foil.

Agreed. I miss the old style Roses that had coffee cream (only my mum and I liked them so there was plenty for us :D) the mini bar of dairy milk and bourneville, the caramel barrel and I'm sure there were a few others that were taken out. Nowadays it seems to have about 4/5 slight variations on caramel :/

We tend to stick to Heroes or Celebrations now. (Though currently I can't eat chocolate :()

Ergh Roses and Quality Street just seem to be all toffee, caramel and orange to me these days. Seriously thought what's with all the orange? It's hideous.

Bring back coffee creams! >.<
