I'm not sure if you understand how dota 2 works! Its a free to play game yes but held up by paid transactions - if into the game that sale is pretty good.

I Never heard of this game before and have no idea what it is...

If you look at any Free to play game on Steam it will tell you that you already own it.
Good call. I was tempted by Towns, but the description of Miner Wars is very intriguing! Voted for it.

If you haven't already, then add it to your wish list. It may prompt them to add it to the sale. (probably wishful thinking - they probably had the sale planned out weeks ago).
