New Years Resolutions 2012/2013

Getting married in December 2013 so want to lose a little bit of weight, 2 stone should be fine.

Eat more at home rather than take out, use the oven more and the frier less! (those fried chips are so much nicer) which will probably get me the first objective.

Be more thorough in everything, pay a little more attention to detail even if it means an extra 20 minutes at work.

Get a look in for promotion.

Get super fit (marathon and the girl head turn body)

Really save up some money

I think It's time I want a girlfriend :)

Go on a good holiday

Go to some more festivals.

These are not resolutions, just 2013 targets. I'll review myself on 31/12/13

Don't think I made one last year other than maybe the typical "get fitter".

Next year it's going to be a very general one that applies to my whole life and that is too enjoy it somewhat more, get out more, achieve more and apply more discipline to what I do and how I go about my business.

Which means...

Beat all my running PB's (5k / 10k / Marathon). Will actually run a half marathon as well as seem to have missed that distance out. :p

Mountain Bike more often.

Focus more on training courses at work and develop my skill set further.

Complete two Tough Mudders (did one last year).

See more of my friends and get myself out the house more for reasons other than fitness goals.

Sleep more.

Improve my diet even further.

Watch more films and listen to an even greater variety of music.

Basically just live life that little bit more than I feel I do at the moment.

:)

I really really want to quit smoking

:( I hate smoking :(

bad to health
bad breath
everything goes yellow
clothes smell
car smells
house smells
ash gets everywhere
burns from dropped red ends
Crazy costs

etc etc the list goes on
Hard to rent flats/houses if your a smoker..

I have 4 objectives for twenty thirteen really, they are....

  1. Get a better paid job
  2. Get a girlfriend
  3. Move into my own house with said girlfriend
  4. Put some weight on.

I don't usually make resolutions just an reinforced effort to lose weight. In November '11 I was 9st 10lb, and so in 2012 I made more of an effort (even if I did some silly diets this year, I've been on a good diet since) now I'm just under 8st. I guess the new year will be to maintain 8st, which is already an issue purely on the basis of what I ate and drank yesterday and started today with bacon. :o:p
