Badge or no badge?

I'm not a fan of loads of chomre badges, nor do I like no badges at all.

L badge only looks good.

As an alternative to de-badging why don't you get some black chrome ones? Or even PlastiDip them in matte black?

Nope, not doing that at all. IMO that's just a completely ridiculous thing to do to something like an LS.

So debadging is an option but changing them to a more subtle variant is not.

Right.

Cannot work out why you think an LS is not a candidate when Lexus roll out black chromed stuff themselves.

This is a wind up right.

Debadging is on the same level as plasti dipping them in black ?

One is a reasonable mod, the other is something a chav with a Corsa would do....

Black chromed or perhaps PlastiDip. Looks pretty decent if done right on the right cars to be fair.

PlastiDip is cheap and instantly reversible. Black chrome is an OEM option on some models.

If you do not like it, say. Sitting there saying "Totally ridiculous on an LS" like it's some kind of supercar is pretty laughable however.

Sinchase, debadging isn't an option for him now unles he wants to fill the holes and paint the bolt lid.

Which is why I suggested he might want something more subtle like black chrome badges instead. Can make them less obvious, still pretty stock looking and not have the holes issue. Apparently a totally ridiculous idea on an LS though.

I genuinely think I would be the first ever person to ever use Plastidip on a Lexus in England :p

Im generally a very stock car person, debadging is a far as I really go on visual mods.

I just think blackening chrome badges would look ridiculous on the LS...

Dont understand saying it would look chav?? Chav is when the manufacturer badge comes off and the lock is covered with filler too. My car is debadged from factory and looks better for it. Think about it - whoever thought a description of the car on the boot was a good look in the first place? That's like me walking aroud with 'British', '5'6"' or something on my arse in tacky shiny letters. Manufacturers badge only looks much better, especially on a premium car where they gave a crap about it's aesthetics. Too bad you cant do it, OP.
