It's £16.41 here GMG using the 30% off code they have running on their site.
Thats about 16 pence per hour of gameplay if you smash it.

I know right, I wanted sims 3 but I can't buy the sims 3 without buying the expansions and it's just not worth the money.
They have all lasted 48 hours - new deal still come at 6.00PM tomorrow.

All of them have been on sale before. That's why I asked if it was a joke. Very poor show. Kinda bored of this sale. I've always been really excited by them but this year is just full of sales that either aren't good deals, games no one wants or already own and are old enough to just be a standard package deal and not a flash or daily deal, or games that are being repeated.
What's the point in flash deals when they are going to end up on a daily deal anyway. That kind of marketing just irritates me.

Something that's disgusting me about Steam though is this;
The base game used to be available stand alone but now it's dropped into the sales, they've removed the base game from download and forced you to buy an inflated DLC bundle if you want the game, sure it's only pennies and a few pound we're talking about but still... I have £2 left of my sales budget and wouldn't mind picking up the base game for £2 or less, but nope.

Nothing has really appealed to me apart from Batman Arkham City GOTY. I missed out the sale several days ago when it was £4.99 due to late mail checking. Thought I'd get it today since it was a 48 hour sale. Thought I'd get the Amazing Spider-Man as well.
