So.... Who's working today?

6am -2pm for me last day and have a week off though so not had shame I've missed most of the festive celebrations and drinking though... Will have to make up for it I suppose.

That accident sounded dreadful, people really are very dangerous on the road these days with the lack of driving skill, arrogance and people being able to buy these stupid tank like offroad cars(that never go offroad) it really is very dangerous and a recipe for disaster.

Been at work for an hour and the phone hasn't rung once. There are only 5 of us in the office (out of the usual 50) so it's pretty quiet.

Back at work today and tomorrow, it's so quiet. Only myself on Desktop Support and another in Networks but there are no jobs coming in and most of the users who've logged calls aren't in. Also there's no heating :p

Working today, Mrs Behemoth asked me no to goto work, considered it then she said actually no I best go in so grrr not overly happy to be here.

Very few calls - mainly those that are calling are whinging about stuff we have no control over.

Yep, here I am at work again.

Pretty dead here at the moment. Thankfully I have an internet connection, should pass the time.

This is real nice, the law firms that we work at would not allow us to not come in today and tomorrow. We are permanents placed at the law firms and are considered staff in all ways but the paycheck and benefits. Everyone else in the building is not in but IT have to come in. Meanwhile all the law firm staff get 35 days holiday and **** loads of benefits but IT contractors get 20 days holiday. It realy is disgusting.

Didn't you have an entire thread where people explained to you how you don't work for the law firm, you work for the IT company?

He also seems to believe that an, I'm sure very competent but entirely replaceable (if confused and somewhat militant), IT contractor, has equal value to a law firm as the lawyers who generate its revenues.
