Next Day Delivery but isn't dispatched. Am I entitled to a refund? (Not OCuK)

Hey guys. Was shopping about for my Nvidia Vision Kit 2.0 and ordered 2:39pm from a very reputable (one of the biggest) online distributors, item was in stock. Anyway I opted for Next Day Delivery as I wanted to play with this over the weekend, I just haven't gotten an email saying it's been dispatched and it also says dispatching soon on my account.

As I've paid for Next Day Delivery and it hasn't gone out for the next day, am I entitled to a refund? They had ample time to get it out for delivery and it even said order in the next 2 hours blah blah for next day etc. Any advice welcome!
 
If its a rainforest, be patient, wait for the email! sometimes they dont send out a dispatch email till gone 10pm.

If you don't then yes You'll be able to claim a refund.

Is the retailer even open today? Did you place the order before their cut of time?
Did you check the small print and any Holliday additions to said t&cs.
And as said not all emails are sent out before 5pm.

Have you logged into their website? The email may be delayed. Their site might also give you a tracking code so you can see what's happening.
 
I ordered something from Rainforrest today for next day delivery. Tomorrow it is due but no email as of yet. Not too bothered as i said above, sometimes the email arrives same day or even after i have taken delivery!
 
I just got an email from the big river saying my item has just been dispatched, yet I got another email about a minute after stating it had been delivered (Delivered to Amazon Locker). Probably got a lot of orders and they are slowly trekking through them.
 
Next day delivery doesn't mean you will receive the item the next day upon order. It means you will receive the item the next day from the day of dispatch.
 
LOL - Just got my [whisper]amazon[/whisper] e-mail at 2045 saying my goods have just shipped for tomorrow delivery and I've had one at 2130 before so you never know!!!
 
My item was dispatched at 3pm and arrived today, I wouldn't worry about it :cool:

Amazon are really good with getting things out on time, even if they don't appear to have been dispatched.
