Playing on the same screen (46 pladma)
PC is more than capable
Have access to a controller for both

I have just been playing this game at some else's on xbox. It's awesome and a definite 'me' game

Is it better to get it on xbox.. For 2 player.
Or
Is it better to get it on pc.. For the keyboard /mouse?

Gfx aren't really an issue with this game I'm guessing

How likely is it you'll be splitscreening it? If you don't plan on doing it, I'd get it on PC for the keyboard and mouse.

^what is this shenanigans and how does it work? :O I have never seen split screen pc. It'basically the main reason I get some games on xbox

Ah, that's pretty cool :p I guess some other things to take into consideration then are whether more of your friends (or at least the ones you plan on playing this with) play it on Xbox or PC. Since it can be splitscreened on PC there probably isn't any point in asking about controller preferences.

Most of them have a playstation! :-\ hate those things.
This is exactly what pc gaming is missing (for those that have htpc)
no one really has a pc, but then I don't have xbox live.

Need to find the hardware I need. Do I need two pc-xbox dongle?
What would reallybe cool is split monitors with one player on one and one on another lol

They will do, with Valve pushing Big Picture to get PC gaming into the living room more games will support some of the more social aspects of the consoles versions.

Does anyone care at all about those?

It depends what they're awarded for. Things like being awarded something for basically following the linear plot of a game is a joke, but say for something that actually takes some effort and "skill" then they make sense.

Also, to the op, do you have a PS3? If so, get it on that, you get the PC version as well for free when you buy the PS3 version.

I did P1 on PC, I thought it was great, and some of it I do wonder how the pad guys coped. With P2 being more aligned with consoles and co-op I got with the eggbox. The single player is great, but the co-op is fantastic. Play it with a mate over a saturday, get some pringles and beer in and a few episodes of curb to split the game up and it's a cracking good day!
