Hey guys, in need of help,

I've just recently moved to watercooling and added a second GTX480. PC fired up fine first time before I cable managed and I had a play around, then I finally get around to cable management, plug it all in any everything is fine. Except I notice my sound card isn't working, turn off my PC to reseat the slot (It is in a different slot before the upgrade).

Now whenever I come to login, after I type in my details my PC just black screens, when I turn it back on and go into safe mode I'm told that I BSOD'd.

First dump says dxgkrnl.sys, dxgmms1.sys & nvlddmkm.sys was to blame
Second is rdpencdd.sys
Third is ntoskrnl.exe and nvlddmkm.sys

I have no idea what error string it was as I never see the issue.

Any ideas what it could be? I'm fully expecting that my PSU needs an upgrade, I expected two GTX480's on a 850W was pushing it, but I expected them to work fine until I pushed both to the max.

Okay so now my PC is running fine on one GPU, I've reseated RAM and I'm sounding out my sound card issue, may try again with two GPU's shortly.

Is it not possible to install what you need for SLI before you put the second GPU in?

Maybe it's a faulty new GPU, try the new one on it's own?

As far as I know I don't need anything for SLI, I've got all the drivers from when I just had one GPU, just set it to use both. I'll try just the other one, at least my original one works. And just so happens I have a spare GTX480 too :P

I did think it was all included with the standard drivers, but I said it to make sure.

Try the new one, never know. It may be the problem.
