Finally got my package from Japan. Got myself a Happy Hacking Keyboard Pro 2 and she's a real beauty. Worth the obscene price tag? Maybe not to some but to me it is the best keyboard available and a price I was willing to pay. It really is a typing experience you cannot find anywhere else in terms of layout and feel.

For $300 dollars :eek: looks to small for my sausage fingers.

The keys are full sized, and all of the extra keys missing from a full sized keyboard are accessible through the function key, in the effort of having everything within reach of the home row - which is a big deal for me.

It certainly isn't a keyboard for everyone, but I personally find it levels ahead of all the mechanical keyboards I have owned.

The price does sting, but then there is nothing out there quite like it so I paid the premium.

Nothing quite like a HappyHacking Keyboard.

I wouldn't say the quality is miles ahead of the other expensive boards but it is unique.

yeah its currently £649 in John Lewis, was £699 but they price matched currys and updated their national pricing on the back of my email  anyway get it from JL as you get a 5 year warranty included, something currys charge £6 a month for

Its a great TV, looks amazing and is very very skinny, havent played with the smart features yet but has netflix etc on it. Had a quick play with 3D on the SKYHD channel football looks pretty cool and clear. You have to adjust the settings out the box as the backlight is set to perma sun :D

oh and 42" in your bedroom, wow thats mental lol, think they do this in 32,37,40 and 46

Cheers, it's a beautiful looking television :)

I've got a normal sky box in my room, multiroom thing and it uses a scart socket, so I'm after a television with a scart socket and HDMI for my ps3 and xbox :)

42" is pretty big, given I usually sit about a foot away from it when gaming too :D

New memory card reader to make the most of my quick cards, WD passport for backing up pictures and DVD burner because I don't use one enough to install one in my PC but it's handy if I want to rip the odd cd.

I really want to try out a keyboard with Topre switches but I can't justify the price of one not knowing what they will be like. The HHKB2 looks really nice, though... :o

The best build quality board I have is a Filco. The hefty weight does make it feel substantial when picked up, but it would be counterproductive, for a board that can be used as a portable device, to carry so much weight.

Although the key caps feel much nicer to me on the HHKB, and the switches feel more solid - less plasticy.

My problem with the Filco is how easily the keys wear. Half of the letters are gone from mine, I'd much prefer laser-etched ones like WASD offer on their keyboards, but I don't know if the WASD ones have the same heavy baseplate that the Filco ones do.

Should've got the Ninja.

I'm extremely impressed by it's quality, and it holds the rMBP perfectly, without it moving about. Something I was kind of worried about. Lots of extra pouches on the inside and lots of space. It can hold two external passport HDD's, an iPad, the laptop of course and still has room for books and some pouches for pens and markers.

Another zipped pouch on the front under the main flap, and an open pouch on the back, with another hdd size pouch. they show it holding an iPhone though. Not that I'd put it in there.

Couldn't find it in a UK layout at the time and I'd already had a US-layout Tenkeyless that I struggled with. I do miss those Cherry Blues, though. :p

I'll never understand how people find it so hard to switch between the two =/

It's like the pink and the brown..

If you get what I mean ;)
