My brother bought himself a "bargain" TV just after Xmas, a 32" Bush HDTV. Its picture is surprisingly nice, But the sound is horrible.

Now he's wanting to spend sub £100 on a sound system. And we'd just like some options.

We're sure its S/PDIF, It's the orange phono looking thing(Yep, I'm that technically minded when it comes to sound) Although it says optical on the TV.

Any help out there?

Probably get one of those sound bars.... Not great but not sure what else you can get for £100 because you would need a dac, amp and speakers which is not going to happen for £100

SPDIF is optical, small square shape hole, the orange phono one is likely to be coax.
