Why I love iPhones

I lost my (luckily) insured iPhone 5 a couple of weeks ago and bought another yesterday with the money back from insurance.

Photo stream was turned off and I backed up to iCloud but thought I had lost all my pictures.

I fired it up yesterday, restored from iCloud and everything is back to how it was before I lost it! The only thing I lost were photos from the night out when I lost it. I had documents and data on but 'Use Mobile Data' turned off so the ones taken on the night were lost.

I went into the Apple store in Meadowhell yesterday and thinking it would be bedlam prepared myself. - It was but they were that organized I had a new phone which was restoring in the shop within a couple of minutes. I was in there all of 5 minutes and left with a phone that had all my numbers, calendars and everything else on the way

Also picked up a clear 'Adopted lens case' which is nice and minimal, but has a good feel to it

Anyway, short story is - iPhones are so easy to use if you have a problem like this. I was able to use my old Sony W810i which is still an OK phone, but had to manually enter numbers saved on iCloud, no email, no internet etc

You're comparing a phone that came out in 2006 to a modern smartphone? :p

REALLY?!

That's like saying that the Ferrari 458 Italia is better than a Ford Anglia released decades ago, because it's easier to go fast in it :p

FYI Tesco sell a cover identical to that clear case for £8.

I went with the rubber variant for £4 because I'm cheap and my wife washed my leather pouch :(
