Hello, Ive got my cpu, ram, heatsink installed into my motherboard (awaiting for my case to arrive).

Ive plugged in both power connectors from my psu to my motherboard, turned it on, and no lights appeared, no beeps, the heatsink fan runs and its boots past the BIOS page and immediately goes to "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected".

Am I suppose to be seeing any lights turned on the motherboard when I plug in the power?

Dont think the board has any LED'S.

The BIOS speaker in some occasions comes with the case, if not you will need to purchase one separately.

Oh, so if it boots up, gets past the bios page, does that mean its working?

Sorry I'm new to this, always thought there would be a green light come on and a beep, but rest assured that the motherboard doesn't come with any LEDs.

Thanks for the quick response.

It will do what your saying if you have no hdd connected, you need to attach one and install windows from the dvd drive

Yes, your pc as working ok, as you don't have any drives installed it will show what your getting.

Majority of motherboards don't have speakers built in and leave it to the case manufacturers to supply them or the user to use there own.
