Going to London for new years eve, but got a question.

I've been before but that was quite a few years ago and now the fireworks are by London eye I'm unsure where is the best place to see them?

I know it's embankment but not sure where abbots to camp for a good spot lol

Best place would be north bank directly opposite the London Eye....

The only problem is anywhere along the Embankment will be mobbed. If you're drinking, you'll struggle to leave your group to go to the toilet and regroup again, once you're out of the embankment zone after like 10pm they wont let you back in again.

I've parked myself in Parliament Square before over near the Abbey. You wont see any low level fireworks but you will see all the rockets etc and then it's a quick get away down to Victoria station if you need to.

Going into Central London for New Years is a terrible idea.
I kind of understand why people who haven't been think it seems fun, but it really isn't, it's a nightmare.

opposite bank of the london eye, not right in front of it, but maybe 500m either side of it, going as far as london bridge even,

remember, you can be right in the middle, but say goodbye to any quik getaway, you will still be in central london at 4 am

good luck matey

Lol I know it's going to be busy but plan on getting their early.

Got a bit of a issue though, can't find out what the last train times are for Tottenham hale to Broxbourne can only find normal timetable not New years eve one.

I know tone ruins through tool 4:30 but need to get back to Broxbourne somehow from Tottenham hale.

Help be great cheers.

I know what you mean man, I hate it when my tool gets ruined by tone.

Help is great, isn't it? Arrrrrrrr.

Loving your auto corrects.

You can get a really good view from Buckingham Palace.

Don't do it. Mum and Dad went last year. My mum had stuff nicked out of her bag and it took them 2 hours to get INTO Waterloo station to get home. They said it was horrific.

London on New Years we, ahahahha it's your funeral why spend hours queuing in the cold and then hours getting home to watch some pretty lame fireworks

Again, this is why you have a high vis jacket on.

People presume you're important/security/usher/herder and move out of the way.
