Who to go Phone and BB off if I leave sky.

There is no surcharge, you just won't get as good a discount. No reason to move, Sky is one of the best providers.

Try calling retentions and see if they can apply additional discounts onto your bill.

I got Sky BB & Phone for my dad via Quidco. And on their bills there is a £2.50 charge for no Sky TV.

Plus.net are most reliable/best vfm at the moment.

But Sky and Virgin are both quite reliable.

Avoid BT and Tiscali.

Plusnet are a BT company and do the usual traffic shaping rubbish like their parent company and tiscali no longer exist as their are fully intergrated into the TT network.

Personally I'd stay with Sky as even with an extra few quid to pay they are still better than plusnet, BT, 02/Be & talk talk.

Sky are quite happy to take broadband-only customers these days.

They will charge £2.50 per month extra if you don't have TV, but it's still only £10 a month for a service with unlimited downloads and no traffic management slowing it to a crawl.

If you're prepared to pay a years line rental upfront, they will charge you £119.40 I think you'll struggle to find anything without a silly download limit for cheaper.

Consider the Utility Warehouse. Unlike the big players who have recently increased their line rental, UW have frozen theirs. You can have LLU and they will give you a fantastic rate for fibre when it becomes available in your area later this year. UW always get top ratings from Which? and they have some discount schemes that can reduce their already great rates even more.
