i7 2600(non k) to i5 3570k for gaming worth it?

Looking to sidestep from my 2600 to a 3570k as I'm getting into PC gaming again, is it worth the change so I can overclock? Cheers.

Fair answer. Currently playing through the Far Cry trilogy, then it'll be Dishonored, Borderlands 2, Arkham City, Hitman Absolution, Max Payne 3, etc, etc.
 
It probably isn't worth it then, maybe if you were playing MMORPGs and CPU dependent games. Wait out for a year or two before upgrading :)
