Yeah I stopped reading when I saw AMD but to be fair " green and blue cold cathode lighs that flash to music " - AWESOME ! (in 2002)

OK lets be fair .... lets look at that overclock "3.1ghz to 4.5ghz". Got any benchmarks to go with it say fritz or cinebench ?

//edit ewwwww I've just seen what it can do at those speeds. Don't bother with the benchmarks OP ... We can't wait that long !

Its a capable pc with a good gpu? Im unsure of the question though. Are you looking for upgrade advise?

The only thing I'd recommend is i5 ivy bridge...but that also involves a new motherboard

I think it sounds neat but I think it would VERY quickly become bored of it.
But i am wondering you have very clearly put a lot of time effort and money into your build and im wondering why you ruined it by buying that CPU? Even with my limited knowledge I know you would be a fool to get that over an Intel CPU?
You could have had yourself a very nice PC if you chose Intel over AMD

how do you do that ? my kid would love that.

you just need some sound activated cold cathodes.

and if anyone wants to know I spent £768 on my pc. and I prefer amd to intel because they are cheaper and run cooler.
my main use for this pc is video editing and some games but my main gaming is done on a xbox 360 or my ps vita.

Honestly not the best use of that kind of money but it's a strong setup that should last you well. Who cares what we think? If you are happy with it it doesn't matter :)

Now get off the forums and play something :D
