V12 Aston Martin Rapide

Recession white

DO NOT WANT.

Lovely car.

Paddy, I adore the way your terrible example just gayly assumes a merry 25% discount straight off the bat. Obviously all those people that attained the same discount on their rapides back in 2010 are just laughing their teets off right now as they sell their AMs having suffered only minimal depreciation.

Having never bought a car worth more than £10k, let alone anything from a premium marque I've no idea how the higher end of the market works. I took a guess that the discount might be similar. Especially when HEADRAT said "he got a fantastic deal".

I'll start a new thread so as not to derail this one.

Plenty of 2012 Rapides on Pistonheads for around £100k, and plenty of 2010 models for around £80k.

A grand a month depreciation seems very reasonable (if you have that kind of spare cash) for that sort of car.

Good work fella!

(Though I'd agree white does not show off the car as much as a dark metallic)

Also looks like they are ripe for a takeover, there obviously trying to turn all of their stock into cash.

Thanks. Clearly the guy I know that has one was trying to put me off from one in future. Does make you wonder why people say these things lol.

I suggest he was disguising the fact he didn't negotiate a very good deal more than anything, but I've several mates with them and considered a Vantage V8 (until I drove it) so tend to get 'calls' from Aston dealers now and again offering cars.

Which Aston do you like? I like the Vantage but have a soft spot for the new Vanquish.

Do you get a better deal with finance or without?
