BenQ RL2240H 22" - Not sold on this site - Review

BenQ G2450HM 24"

Asus VE246H 24"

Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM 23"

Size does not matter for me, all i want it the best monitor for the best best (best bang for buck). I will happily take other suggestions as well.

Also I would have gone for the Dell but that has a high response time (8ms) whereas the monitor like the asus has a 2ms response time. Will this affect me since my main use is gaming?

EDIT: Is this one any good as well - BenQ GW2450HM 24"

The Benq is a VA panel, the Dell is IPS

IPS has better colour reproduction (hence being favoured for photo work), VA panels can have slightly better blacks. IPS tends to be rather more expensive than VA

I suggested a screen with a thin bezel, had dual HDMI ports so you could run say the pc and a games console through it. Also has very low response times.

So is BenQ any good and if not shall I go with the asus you recommended me?

I'd go with the Asus one fella.

The BenQ isn't bad but seeing as the Asus is on offer might as well get the whole extra watt on the speakers, the longer warranty and better response times ;)

ok, but does the benq and asus monitors have dual hdmi ports?
Also what monitor has better picture quality?

The ASUS I suggested has Dual HDMI and VGA. The BenQ you like is HDMI,DVI,VGA.

I've not seen them side by side. Any screen will probably need a little tweaking to get the best from it. For your budget I would definately go with the Asus I picked.

I have the Asus VE247H and I have to say their is ghosting :( I would say the BenQ.

I was just about to get the asus, now I am unsure. Is the ghosting major?

EDIT: is ghosting something that will appear on all of the models? If I do get a dodgy monitor will I be able to send it back as well?

EDIT 2: Final question is it 60hz or 120hz?

Ghosting is very noticeable unfortunately, for my eyes anyways. If you do a search, you'll find a lot of the VE247H has ghosting, there is a fix, but it requires you to do it every time you turn your monitor on. Some say they don't have ghosting so I guess it's luck.

It's 60hz :)

ok, thanks. Would i be allowed to send it back if it has ghosting?
