Sitting here having a think at all the "what should I buy" threads that have popped up over the various forums and sub-forums over the years, and I was wondering if anyone could add to the list.

For example, Motors would tell you that if you wanted a rear wheel drive fun car then an MX5 is your car.

If you wanted a motorway muncher, then a diesel Mondeo wouldn't see you wrong.

For a time you couldn't venture into Graphics without a 460/560 being the best bang for buck card, now it seems the 7850/7950 is king of that.

If you wanted a computer that does browsing, with a bit of poke and little need for maintenance then you'd need a Mac Mini. Sorta

Any more for any more? There have definitely been some strong themes and instances when people have asked for advice over the years!
