Meh, is it really worth the £50+ over an i3 for most people? I mean, that's £50 that could go to a better PSU, or graphics card, or keyboard (which is often overlooked).

When I worked in a restaurant, my boss had them. A real dream to hold and use. I think the full set is about 500 quid with the block.

In all seriousness, from what i remember in my brief time reading through the watch thread, if you want a cheap mechanical then it's basically between the Vostok Amphibia and a Seiko 5.

Some good efforts so far. 
Arrrg, a conflict! I definitely remember a lot of people saying the Staples effort was the way to go, but the Ikea Markus seats my buttocks these days. A steal at £60 odd.

Is the chair still a steal at £125? thats what the Markus is on Ikea presently.
And for the thread. I5 mostly gets recommended in the cpu section, though I agree with some earlier comments about the I3.
