Has anyone been able to confirm if the 920 works on Virgin Mobile? I searched the thread but nothing seems confirmed from what I can read. If it is possible, which network version would I need to buy, Orange or EE?

You mean high brightness?
There is no option for high contrast...

But the colours are very washed out in the yellow one...Might be a faulty display panel?

Go under settings and ease of access,

Is that turned on? It may cause a different contract which you're seeing. Otherwise, might be a quality issue,

Its definitely a screen issue...The colours seem dull and lifeless on the yellow one.
Very strange indeed.
Its going back for a replacement...
Its very hit and miss regarding quality...
I'd rather pay more money and have the phone made in Finland or Germany where you can be assured the quality will far exceed that of products made in China.

Sending it back is the right thing to do.

Last chance for me....

Woke up this morning, watching sky news on my phone and then pressed the back button to exit and the screen locked up.
A soft reset shows the date to be 01/09/12, so it has reset partially, but there is still no response from the screen, completely unresponsive.
I can receive calls and see txts arrive, I just cant reply or answer calls as the touch part does zilch.
Im going to try and flash the original german firmware back onto the phone and then if it happens again, i will RMA the phone back..

How much does it cost to get an EE phone unlocked? Considering going that route if they have a few colour choices in store.

Are you not running GB Portico?

Got mine coming tomorrow , even managed to switch my current T-Mobile over on EE 4g and its only cost me £4 more a month for unlimited mins/texts and 500 meg data which lasts me easily, far more than I had before with mins/texts and the contract runs out the same time.

EEs data limits are abysmal. 500Mb is like 16Mb a day.

Yeah it should be capped to stop people taking the p__s ... but anything less than 5Gb a month is pointless.

Doing it this way makes it very difficult to get it working with other operators, even after unlocking. I wouldn't bother. I'd either wait til they are available unlocked from P4U/CPW (which shouldn't be long) or get one from online somewhere.
