so the girlfriend went a bought me a power supply for my new build

just woundering if you guys had used them before and if this would be ok for my build i will list the parts i have

i think you may be ok. it would be close though power wise

amd recommend 600w psu for crossfire 7850's and i did a quick review and the cx600 has 2x 6+8pin pcie connections and 7850's take a single 6pin so it will power it.

id go for maybe 650w-700w if i were buying a new psu, so you could return the cx600 and get a more powerful version. but it should work

Firstly not enough PCI-E connectors, may be a little short on power too.. I'd say 650W .. :)

so turns out it wasent the psu that i linked at the top it was a coolermaster brand and after what you guys hae said that i would need more power for 2 7850s i think ill leave that for another time the power supply she bought me was

Coolermaster PSU's are not the best to be honest. I would suggest something from Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, Antec or Silverstone. The pc power and cooling ones are good but they only go up to 500W.

As long as you haven't broken any warranty seals and if it is within OCUK return timeframe you should be able to return it.
