Thanks for the replies guys, just got in from work. It isn't a genuine build, no. A interview question actually, what would I choose if i could build the perfect gaming rig, money no object? So far all my builds came no where near 7.7k haha, good effort!

I am suprised you didn't go down a Quad SLI route with the graphics cards, I must be honest.

Thing is, picking a trillion core zillion gb ram. million GPU system isnt necessarily going to get a higher frame rate than say... a highly overclocked Z77board and chip.

I refuse to post one until I can accompany it with a picture of the funds waiting to be spent on the machine + an extensive build log + the 2nd build log after I break everything in the first one through excitement.

Then pictures of me doing cool stuff like traveling the world, skydiving, driving fast cars and going to space with the PC sat gathering dust because iv realized gaming isn't as fun as doing it all in real life.

I'm running Windows 7 on 2 Xeons, and it uses all the cores and all the threads.

Windows 7 home only supports 1 physical processor, but if you're going to buy two Xeons, Ultimate shouldn't break the bank.

That is quad gpu mate.

7990's are dual gpu cards.
