Ok cheers, By the way to answer the question of how rich am I, it isn't exactly me. I might get flamed or no one will believe me but heres the answer; Girl likes me, Mother and Father are millionaires, Made a bet with her, Winner got a car of their choice and i chose the Q7 too drive around so I could take my mates out etc. So i'm basically promised an Audi Q7 by her father when I pass my tests.
Most important question - what was the bet?

ByMRK1, let's go with the premise that everything you've said thus far is correct and true. It does indeed look like you might be 16, because you have displayed the naivety of a 16 year old in starting this thread and expecting responses other than you have received.

Many of us were just as naive as you in our mid-teens and we can only imagine with incredulity the situation you purport to be in at such a young age. I am sorry that you feel offended at some of the reactions but you are now probably learning about the most important aspect of life; people.

There is something you need to be aware of: If your girlfriend’s parents were really serious when they said they will in effect give you £100,000, they know they will probably never have to. Being older and wiser than you, they are well aware the probability that you and their daughter are still an item after you've taken your final exam this summer is extremely low.
The only way you can guarantee getting anything from them is if you get something now in writing, signed and notarised.

I, and a few other may remember this thread in 11 months’ time and some of us may almost wish you could prove us all wrong, but alas, though many of us enjoy watching fantasy we've experienced a little too much of real life to believe anything you’ve actually said will come to pass.

My advice to a 16 year old at this time of his life would be that he/she should spend most of their evenings revising not in a diatribe with people he doesn’t even know or care about.

Wow, what a thread.

It's funny, you do encounter people from time to time where every word out their mouth is complete ****. I used to work with one of them, nice enough chap but every story or anecdote was clearly made up nonsense. It's quite good for a laugh once you've realised it's there.

Thinking back, that sort of thing starts at school - when you're 13/14 (from the posting style, closer to the OPs actual age if i was to guess) everyone's making up rubbish to try and impress their mates. The difficulty comes when you don't grow out of it - like my 32 year old friend - or when you take it too far - like telling the Internet you've been given 100k for your first car because you dated someone's munter daughter.

Don't be "that guy" OP, it's pretty clear to see exactly what's going on in your head, you thought all the bigger boys in motors would be impressed and let you live out your fantasy, in reality they're just going to laugh at you and you'll end up living a more diluded life because of your need for attention
