keep running out of space on my htc wildfire s - help!

It has an SD card with 550 mb free but it keeps running out of internal space.

I've tried doing what they do on the android forums - sdk mini tools etc/debug/charge only etc - but it won't work!

i've transferred s much as i can to the card but it's never enough!

Help as i am getting really frustrated at this - good phone otherwise!

try app2sd

have you not got some stuff in download or other folders that you need to delete?

Nope - already checked!

I delete the cache from programs as well etc but as soon as i use programs it all goes again....

Problem with that is it has a pathetic amount of room on /data, nowhere near enough by todays standards.

I'm having the same problem, have you found a way to sort it? I have also gone into 'Manage Applications' and cleared caches I haven't yet clicked on Clear Data because I didn't quite know what dould happen, any ideas?

Even my mum runs out of space on hers. Either stop installing apps or buy a new phone

Honestly, just bin it. It's an awful phone anyway.

My Mrs had this phone and had the same problem. It even seemed to stop her receiving text messages as the phone was saying it was oom. This despite having a 2GB Sd card with next to nothing on it. It is an awful phone so despite being in contract with 3 at the time I bought her a used Lumia 800 for £110 and its so much better. So I would also ditch it

My missus has the same issue, its an awful phone tbh, really bad move by htc for the amount of memorythey had.
