How's this score?

Just got my used HD 7970 Sapphire Dual X 3GB for $320. Overclocks up to about 1240/1650 at 1.225v. Is this an above average overclock? I'm used to the HD 7850's. ;)

Here's a Unigine Benchmark:

Yes you have got a good overclock

About 84C. My new 24/7 overclocks are 1200/1600 at 1.187v to keep temps down to 73C. Aside from benchmarks, I do not feel a difference from 1240 or 1200 while gaming.

Yeah try to keep it under 85 for benching although technically I had two dodgy MSI 7950s and both were running OK (apart from the noise) up to 95c :D.

I wouldn't recommend it though.

73c for a 24/7 overclock is more than fine. I would be happy a notch or two under 80c to be fair.

Mine @ 1100 is around 62-65c :)

My goodness 95C, wow! I'd immediately end the benchmark lol. 65C is pretty nice for that HD 7950. :)
