Just got a quote of circa £1K from 4 new boots from my normal tyre place which seems steep based on what I am seeing online. I am considering Conti 5's as we have 3's on the Mazda and I had the same on my RS4 and they are a very good tyre so wondered, where do you chaps get them from?

Sizes
F: 245/40/R19Y
R: 275/35/R19Y

So what can you chaps/chapesses suggest?

I've never seen an online booking service where they are any where near as competitive as local places :(

I've used blackcircles before and they were cheap and the customer service was brilliant when I need to change the delivery address on the day of delivery!

Not close on price based on what I've saw at £938

I've been sitting in Knights BMW Stafford having some service work done and I'm awaiting to see what they can come up with. I don't expect them to get close but if they are within £100 then I'll get them done here for convenience.

Event Tyres? They're mobile and usually reasonably priced...

Are you after runflats?

A quick look suggests the Michelin Pilot Super Sport is available in your size, which I've heard good things about, but not sure how these compare to CS5s or F1A2s?

Im not putting runflats on no, they are the tyres of the devil and utterly ruin the ride, they will be burnt and stamped on. BMW were not even close......I can but them for £100 less than them!

Have you considered the Eagle F1 A2's or would you rather stick with CS5/5P's?

EDITED: Bah, got the wrong size

Im not a huge fan of Goodyear as they tend to have softer sidewalls and in my experience, wear poorly.

On my car, turn in is as good as it was when i had the RE050A, which have stiff sidewalls. When i went from RE050A's to CS3's i found that although the ride was much more comfortable and there was more outright grip, they lacked the crisp turn in that the Bridgestones had. Whereas I found that the the Eagle F1A2 had only slightly improved ride comfort, massively improved wet grip, but still had the directness of the Bridgestones. Awesome tyre the F1A2.

Yeah and no need to wait around whilst they fit them
