funnily enough I went to a mcdonalds only this morning with 3 children in tow. not only did they have everything I wanted in stock they were also open and happy to serve me said items.

perhaps you should write a strongly worded letter to both the franchise operator and mcdonalds uk to query this obviously disturbing situation

When I worked at McD's once there was a BOGOF promo on Big Mac's. Guess what? We ran out of Big Macs.

Easy to see how, they only have a finite amount of storage, no delivery over xmas/new year means they run out

I was in All Bar One in Glasgow on Christmas Eve and they had ran out of Tennent's. I found that quite surprising. Didn't bother me, I wasn't drinking that muck but very surprising.

"Can I have a diet coke and a real coke please?" and the waiter just stared at me and asked me again so I repeated it and he just stared again.
He was mingling about at the back and called me over "How much coke do you want?" and then I just started laughing and explained what I meant.

OT - the McDonald branches around us are always running out of milkshakes, and the KFC has been out of chicken several times. Not sure if you can just ask for a box of southern fried batter

Not read the whole thread so dunno if someone has has the same story but i went into BK once and they had no burgers! seriously! no beef burgers, the only ones they had were chicken, theres a kfc about 1min from there haha!
