What res is your monitor? Also, you will need an optical drive so you can install Windows, although after that it will be useless![]()

Na use use a laptop or a friends computer and the Windows USB tool to make the stick bootablethen use the USB to install the OS.
Ah ok. I'd rather spend the extra £15 tbh. I've used mine 3 times since May for the OS, BF3 and AC3.
I'm starting to wonder if I should sell my xbox 360 to add another £300 to the budget but dunno.
Could even get away with an i3 3220 + 7850 if you can't stretch to an i5![]()
APU sounds like the better deal and was suggested to me with a lower budget..
oh and just to add, you can buy win7 64bit for less than 80 if you shop around online otherwise might aswell just pay the 50 on here and get win8.

The i5 and 7850 paired together are a lot better than the A8/A10 builds.
Yeah, 3970x and SLI 690 would be defo be better than i5 and 7850.... Only issue is the price...
Your setup exceeds budget by nearly twice.
