Mc Donald's.... Out of coke !

Goes to McDonalds for a Coke... Runs out.. Drives past 20 shops on way home which stock Coke to make a thread on OCUK.

This reminds me of the time I went to Antoine's and they were complete out of Chateaubriand. Flabbergasting.
 
last time i went to mc d's they only sold mcdonalds cola... and they reminded you every time too.

They might have been spitting on the burgers in advance, so they didnt have to soit so much when they reopened the next day ;)

Reminds me of the time I was about to go into Basingstoke Nando's only for a staff member who was stood outside to tell me they'd ran out of chicken. That limited the options somewhat. I regret not making a post at the time now :(
 
Local KFC had ran out of bread buns, beans and coleslaw. And didn't have much chicken left either. I only went because I had some half price vouchers to use. The vouchers were valid for 3 months and it wasn't at the start or end of the period so couldn't have been because of them. This was last summer.

Apparently it happens often at this particular branch.

Local Wetherspoons pub had ran out of Fosters on Christmas eve and still didn't have any one the Thursday after Christmas. It's probably their best selling line too.

Yep, I've worked there too.
The syrup for 'normal' coke is in a huge container, which is then mixed with soda water iirc, where as the ones for the other drinks are in 20l bags which need to get changed over when empty.
