Alterantives to Windows Media Player?

Can't say that I've ever really got along with WMP for some reason. Can anyone suggest an alterantive (Free if possible)

I don't use my pc for music but for movies I use Media Player Classic, there is also VLC Player which is good too.

I'm sure ppl will post various free music software as there's a few about but I'm not sure which are the best.

For audio or video?

I use Media Player Classic Home Cinema for media, Foobar for audio.

Cheers, I've used VLC in the past and thought it was pretty good for video, no matter what flavour the files came in.

Yeah, here's the rule to save you looking...

'If no images are used then up to 4 consecutive lines of normal or smaller text is permitted'

I just use Winamp and I have music in the folder D:\Music, to stop Windows from messing with the tags, I've had it do some funny things with my tags before :/
