I've been a sucker for Twinings Assam and strong breakfast teas for a while now but I was feeling cheap yesterday and went for PG tips strong. I like a nice, strong brew; is Yorkshire Gold a good choice?

(I feel bad buying Yorkshire Tea because I'm from Manchester :()

I feel this is relevant to such a thread:

1360 cups of joy :D Should keep me going for quite some time.

Done and I've added in a few more, it's obviously not a complete list but it hopefully covers most of the major options.

For me it's usually a supermarket own brand - probably Kenyan or Assam and Fairtrade but beyond that I'm not too fussy. Occasionally an English or Irish breakfast tea if I'm feeling a bit more choosy.

Yorkshire Gold are nice though pricey, standard Yorkshire have been doing me fine. Tried that Punjana, (Was in B&M Bargains once. :)) very nice brew too. Twinnings English breakfast deserve a mention, albeit the aforementioned make round about the same brew for less.

It's all about Ceylon BOP and FBOP - delicious stuff :)

Hard to find in shops though, so I buy it whenever I see it!

I had this stuff at the actual tea factory :p

I'll have to get more afilliated with what goes into a good brew, cheers. :)

Clipper for me, love all of their teas. Most often drink the green tea either plain, or with peppermint and or lemon.

Big fan of their sleep tea as well, knocks me out if I'm in need of a good nights sleep. Can't use it too often though otherwise the effectiveness tends to wear off.

Addition of loose leaf was a good un.

Just a shame it's made it the barbaric choice as everyone knows the raising of little finger whilst drinking tea is actually quite plebian.

I'm very curious about the Pujana now. Will have a look. Thanks to those two who suggested it :)
