Im in the middle of rebuilding my rig after my cack handedness ruined my mobo. Anyhow, i have stripped my loop down, flushed it and ready to re install.
Know then, im after a silvery/grey colour for my next loop. I have about 1 litre of the pastel mint green which was what came out of the previous loop. What colour dye will i need inorder to acheive my colour?
I have seen the vid on mayhems on how to make grey with white as the base colour but seeing as i have the mint green i was wandering if it was possible.
I also have a litre of the aurora galaxy (purple ish), but i dont really want to use it for my loop.
Thanks

I would've thought the easiest way would be to buy one bottle of pastel white and one bottle of pastel black and mix them

But don't trust me on that, lol.

Mick will be along with a better answer.

Thats what i thought before watching the video. Grey was made by mixing 11drops emerald green with 1 drop of blood red i think, with white as the base.
I just need to know how to go about it with pastel mint green as the base.

Oky mint green is a mix of blue and yellow. So you can add red into it to get that colour but it is not as controllable as doing it the other way around :).

Pastel Black is a mix of Purple, blue, Red and yellow so adding white to it wont work as well as using Green and Red.

Hmm, cheers mate, i will see what other colours tickle my fancy. Is there some sort of mixing guide then for mayhems...... To get colour X mix A + B etc ?

this software works quite well at telling you what colour you need to mix

http://different-color.com/ - Get the version 1 (its free)

Thank you mate. Just one more to pick your brain - what about a copper colour, what colours would i need to go about making that one - a bit like say your copper pipes at home albeit nice and shiny.

P.s - clear tubing, i used xspc with the pastel mint green in previous loop, now i have stripped it down the tubing is a manky green colour, any recommended clear tubing with your pastel and non pastel fluids.
Disposal - safest way to dispose of pastel and aurora is?

Pastel disposal need to go out with oil like substances. See you local polices on this. Aurora, X1 and Xt-1 can go down the drain.

Copper = orange and a very small amount of yellow. Orange on it own looks like iron brew in normal water.

Tubing = mine filed.

Oh i get it. No worries. I will try some mastekleer this time i think.

xspc clear flex is the clearest tubing and has a gloss finish.

Mastekleer is cloudy in comparison and seems dull.

I use mastekleer due to its good bend ratio but if i was buidling it to look good then xspc clear flex is the only way id go for clear tubing.

Thank you for the input.
Well i dont think my previous xspc tubing was clear flex, maybe its an option i could consider. Performance and then looks for me.
